I have a new craft project that I've been working on.

 It's a gift and it's not quite complete yet, but I am so loving it and wanted to share my progress so far.

This little beauty is part of a book cover.

This is the main decoration, pretty much all I need now is the book and I can finish up with a few more embellies and the grand reveal.

 

I love the shabby chic look of this cover. It seems so beautiful and romantic to me.

I can't wait to finish up this gift.

I am so excited about it, and I hope that it brings much joy to the receiver.

Simply Lovely

Good morning,

I've been feeling so creative recently.

I've been staying up long after everyone has went to bed and getting up just a little bit early so that I can have a little extra time to let my creativity flow. You'd think I be tired with the lack of sleep but it's made me so happy that I've hardly noticed. I truly enjoy the peacefulness I find when drawing, coloring, and creating.

My most recent illustration was well worth the sleepless nights.

I love the way she looks so beautiful and romantic.

Quinn Digital Stamp

Hello everyone,

Tomorrow is my parents wedding anniversary.

I am so truly happy for them.

I've been working overtime this week trying to make the perfect card for my dad to give to my mom.

He requested a sweet looking cutie with my moms hair.

I added a touch of romantic to the list,

and came up with this beautiful illustration.

Romantic Kyla Digital Stamp

Hello everyone,

I hope your week's been going well.

Mine's been quite wonderful.

I've been doing a little craft supply shopping this week, and it has been so much fun!

It's been awhile since I've stocked up on paper and embellishments, and well I added something slightly larger and fun to my shopping cart. 

I am now the excited owner of an Anna Griffin edition Cuddlebug machine.

I've wanted one of these for ages, but never could justify the purchase. This week, I finally just went for it; and I'm so glad I did. It arrived yesterday, and I love it. I can't wait to make my next papercrafting project, so that I can emboss something.

I wish I would have had it in time to use with my latest card...

This sweet and romantic cutie is Kyla.

Hi everyone,

 

The creativity bug has bitten me. I feel like I'm sitting on more illustrations than I can post, lol. I have a mini sweetheart collection that I'm currently working on. They're all romantic with long flowy dresses and darling tresses.

Humble Beginnings

While holding my breath and with trimbling hands I hit publish on my first blog post on July 6th 2012. Putting your work out there for the world to see can be a very intimidating experience.

I had been collecting illustrations in a tiny little drawing journal.

My first digital stamp, Hannah, was actually drawn to be a little under 3 inches.

I treasure this little book, as it has many great memories kept between it's pages.

 

The following digital stamps are a handful of my first. I truly hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

 

The last image, of a beautiful angel, is a brand new picture.  It was something that I was toying with then put away for later and was completely forgotten about. It resurfaced while I was searching through the pages of my book and I felt that now was a great time to share it.

 

These digital stamps will be avabile through Sunday the 24th, then they will go back into the vault until the holiday season. Then, I will reopen my Etsy store to collect donations for this years book drive.
