Wouldn't a mummy costume be just adorable for Halloween.
There could be so many variations on how to make it your own.
I decided on charmingly cute for my latest illustration.
I really enjoyed sketching this cuddlebug. I felt so creative making a darling cutie instead of a typical scary costume. I love how she turned out.

ReplyDeleteciao ciao
A Witch and thank you for the chance to win these wonderful spooky candy :}
ReplyDeleteAwesome giveaway! Thank you for all your digis! My favorite costume I saw on Pinterest was shadows. The kids were dressed in complete back, even covering their faces. It was so cute!
ReplyDeleteThanks Anna for another lovely image. Love the little tombstones on your card. My favourite costume would be the witches - lots of variety too.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a chique mummy! So great!
ReplyDeleteHere in Belgium Halloween isn't that big, so I don't know what's "in" for Halloweencostume this year.
But I always like those comicstrip based characters with a fun twist! Kinda like the movie Hotel Transylvania or just a whole bunch of parents and children dressed like the Addams family, I just love them!!!
What a gorgeous image and such a lovely card too!
ReplyDeleteHere in the UK, Halloween is only slightly catching on... Most kids just wear a cheap mask and that's it, though we tend to make more of an effort! My husband made himself a ghostbuster costume last year, and I made Phantom and Christine costumes for the kids (went down so well, as it's something no-one had ever done around here).
We're still deciding on what to do this year, but as my almost-14-year-old daughter is obsessed with zombies, I guess we may go in that direction!
So yes, I'm looking forward to seeing anything that isn't just a cheap mask from the £1 bin! lol.
Thanks Anna for the darling image! I love Halloween. I am hoping to see some Duck Dynasty! (lol) Not the costumes from the store, some homemade ones. I am a follower and will put your candy on my blog. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteVery cute card! I always love seeing unique and homemade costumes, or something I would never have thought of! Thank you for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteIt's awesome. I adore your projects, they're inspirating! I think I'll be black cat ;)

What yummy blog candy! I'm looking forward to seeing the costumes of our friend's kids. We live too far off the road to get regular trick or treaters, but always get some very special little ones that know us.
ReplyDeleteI love that you made your image cute, rather than scarey. So me. :) Your card is fabulous!!!
lovely Image and card!!
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely image and card. I don't dress up for Halloween. It is not a big thing here in Sydney. My daughter dressed up as a witch for a party she went to a few years ago.
ReplyDeleteI like to see others' dress ups.
Thank you for the opportunity to win the halloween candy.
she's such a cute mummy!! u have an awesome talent Anna :)

I know this sounds weird but I want to see Flo from the Progressive commercials. I think I might actually do it.
ReplyDeleteOoooh !!! She's FABULOUS and so lovely to see her in purple :-) I love the papers you used to and would LUV a chance to win some :-D My favourite costumes are anything to do with cats. I remember making myself some ears and a tail when I was at school, with a black leotard and tights and an artist friend painted me the most awesome mask !!! I was about 7 I guess :-)

ReplyDeleteAnd as it´s my birthday today I cross my fingers, that it might bring me a little luck in the draawing too ha ha ha.
I must confess, that here in Denmark it´s very unusual with Halloweenprojects, but all my girls have already been out with ideas for some cards, we HAVE to try and make this year, and if the kiddoes get to decide, we´ll do some cat costumes too and something mummy for the little one.
Thanks again sooo much for sharing all your wonderful images here with us, we´re some here who just adore them all.
Love the mummy thanks for sharing. I am not much of a Halloween fanatic but the kids love it. No sure what we will be seeing this year. Last year we had a twister girl and Mario
ReplyDeleteHi Anna, A lovely candy from u again.... The image is gorgeous as usual.... We dont have halloween celebrations in INdia. ReplyDeleteThank you very much Anna, I think the card is absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much for the fantastic candy.
ReplyDeleteLots of love
Your card is 'wickedly' brilliant.
ReplyDeleteI have made lots of different dress-ups when my son was small, lolly-pop man (street crossing patroller for children) I sewed lollies all over his costume, Can-can dancer, (my little niece) covered in (cleaned out) cans, Hula Dancer, (again niece) covered in tissue paper flowers sewn all over costume. These are just a couple of the costumes that I made. All my costumes were hand-made and just what the children wanted. lol Great candy, thank you so much. (On my sidebar) Hugs, Jen xx

ReplyDeleteThank you for the freebie and the chance to win the candy. The costumes I most look forward to seeing are the homemade ones, but not just a sheet with two eye holes as that shows a lack of imagination to me. Love the spider on your card. Hugs Christine x

ReplyDeleteThe mummy is so cute. It would be awesome to win your Halloween Candy. I took the last one off of my blog yesterday. Hugs~Patti
ReplyDeleteAnna, another terrific image and card. I love your style. As for costumes I'd like to see. I'm a big Hunger Games fan. I'd like to see some Effie Trinkets or Katniss'. I say I'm going to get dressed up every year but never follow through. hahaha Would love to win the candy.
ReplyDeleteAnna, another beautiful creation. I just love all of them. I would love to see some vampires, and maybe some Star Wars creations. That would be sweet. Thanks for another chance to win some great candy.

Just found you today and subscribed via email--love your images. I love how this mummy is not overtly sexy, but still sexy. LOL Thanks for sharing her with us!
ReplyDeleteLOL - I'd settle for seeing any costume. We live in a Retirement community and I've seen costumes 2 times in 22 years - once when my friend and I dressed up and went trick or treating (everybody gave us beer and we don't drink) and again when my grandchild came to spend his halloween birthday with us and we called some friends to see if we could trick or treat at their houses so they'd be ready. He was given things like entire bags of candy, $5 bills, etc. Wanted to always come here for halloween after that :)
