Katie & Kit and a Linky Party, Oh my

Somewhere,
Buried deep within my crafting stash, is a quilting book.
It has the most adorable patchwork kitties in it.
Even though I haven't seen the text in years;
my lastest cuddlebug reminds me of it.
Well, actually her furry little friend reminds me of it.
 
It's full of instructions on how to make kitty appliques.
And all the little cuties are so round, it's just adorable.
All my little guy needs is some stitching and patches and he would fit right in.
 
It makes me want to unearth the book and give it a try. I'm pretty set on believing the sewing machine is my archenemies but I still buy quilting books all of the time. One day I will win the sewing machine war and sew a straight line  :) and when I do I'll have a ton of books (and fabric too) to keep going.

    Thanks for Katie & Kit they look great. Also good luck with that sewing machine war. I used to sew as a teenager and young adult. These days, I don't even think I could figure out how to thread the machine!
