Patchwork Kit Digi

I have the greatest news.
I am getting a craft room!
I am so super excited. I have been crafting in a little corner of my bedroom for years and it has been a wonderful space but a tricky one when it comes to storage. My husband and I decided that we have a dining room that we never really use. We host Thanksgiving in it but otherwise it just kinda collects junk throughout the year, so we are going to turn it into my new craft room. Right now it's a total mess, I've got the table out and my desk in but there are boxes everywhere and piles, tons of piles of stuff that needs to be sorted and stored.

I will have pictures as we get it all put together and a special post showcasing the new space and all the fun we had getting it all together and decorated.

So much fun, I really cannot explain just how over joyed I  truly am.

So until that wonderful finishing day comes, how about a new digi to celebrate.
I just love this little cutie. The dress and the shoes are just so adorable.

A Quicky Christmas Card

While doing a little Christmas shopping this week I saw the most adorable card on the cover of a magazine. I didn't purchase the issue but kinda wish that I would have because the card was so cute, but I usually enjoy coloring my creations and this was a ribbon themed card, so  I thought it really wouldn't be something that  I would ever make.
Later on, throughout the week I noticed similar cards popping up all over Pinterest. Guess I wasn't the only person who thought it was super cute. This just enticed me to give it a trying. It was something totally different from my normal creations but I love trying new things.

Altogether it took two patterned papers, one piece of cardstock, a straw, a handful of ribbon  and string, some doublesided sticky tape, and about 10 minutes.

Somehow I lucked out and actually found straws that looked like wood.

Perfect for making a ribbon Christmas tree.

It was fun to try something different. I still think I'll stick to coloring though.

Hope everyone is having a great holiday season so far. I'll have an adorable new digi for you all very soon.

Hugs,
Anna
