I had a pretty sleepless night last night. Around one in the morning I was seriously thinking about making a cup of coffee, but I figured that most likely wouldn't help me fall into a peaceful slumber. By four thirty I figured that I had given it my best try, so I got up and made a delicious cup of coffee.
I stood, sipping my coffee, observing all the projects I have going on in my craft room.
My Cuddlebug Cuties illustrations, an art journal filled with fun pictures, a mini album with ribbon and lace spilling over onto my chair, and Christmas cards...tons and tons of cards and little gift tags. Even when I am tired this is my happy place. It's my comfortable area to tinker and play.
And in all honesty I think some of my most creative pieces come to me on sleepless nights.

A shame we live so far apart, as I had a night exactly the same there, so we could have entertained each other then LOL. It´s sooo frustrating, when you just can´t sleep and you still know, you need to be on afterwards and stay pretty fresh, which is not easy, if you haven´t got a good sleep. But now I have another cutie girl to color in next time, I have a night here too, as I´m axactly like you then, Thar room is almost magnetic and soo peaceful that time of the night. ReplyDeleteOkay, so I was up for hours in the middle of the night as well. What's with that? We should have played a game or two online and looks like we could have had a conference call, LOL. I spent some time tidying up my work area, on the iPad on Pinterest. Should have made a card but really thought I might get sleepy. Thanks for the image. It's great!
